        You can create a Backblaze Computer Backup restore of your backed-up files using the Backblaze web UI.

        Use the Backblaze Web UI to Create a Restore

        1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
        2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select Overview.
        3. Locate the computer that you want to restore, and click Restore.
        4. At the top of the page, select your restore method using one of the following options:
          • Click Download (Free) to download a ZIP file of your data.
            ZIP downloads may not exceed 500 GB, and you may not have more than 20 active ZIP downloads at a time. Backblaze recommends that you use the Backblaze Downloader for ZIP restore. For more information, see How to Use the Backblaze Downloader (Mac) or How to Use the Backblaze Downloader (Win).
          • Click Save Files to B2 to store your restored files in your Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage account.
            You must enable Backblaze B2 on your account. The maximum size for a Backblaze B2 restore is 10 TB, and it may involve an additional cost depending on the size of the restore. For more information about Backblaze B2 pricing, click here.
          • Click USB Hard Drive to receive your restored files on a restore drive.
            USB Hard Drives can hold a maximum of 8 TB of data.
        5. In the file window at the bottom of the page, set the time frame for the files that you want to restore and click Go.
        6. Optionally, apply the following filters as desired to locate the files that you want to restore:
          • Select Show Hidden Files to display photos that are hidden in the default view.
          • Select Files Backed Up in the Last Week to display files backed up only in the last week.
          • Select Files Accumulated in Forever Version History to show files accumulated by setting Forever Version History.
            Only that users who selected Forever Version History for their backups have access to this option.
        7. Select the disks, files, or folders that you want to restore, and click Continue with Restore.
        Note
        If you order a Mac restore drive that you will access through a Windows computer, follow this guide to ensure that the drive is correctly formatted for Windows.
