Excellent article, I’m really looking forward to the detailed posts to come. I’ve IPO’d dozens of companies as a banker and latterly two as CFO, and every time Donald Rumsfeld’s words come to haunt me, there is *always* an “unknown unknown”!

Thanks – hope it’s been helpful, and will be much more so. The IPO process is such a black box, and we want to make it more accessible to the thousands of companies for whom it’s a potential path and to the millions of employees that work for those companies.
