I looked at a couple of stores and a 2TB SSD is about double the price of the same size HDD.

I cloned the old drive to the new drive. The clone said it was successful which on the most part it was. It boots of the new drive and is much much faster except that the sound is not available and the sound device does not show up in the device manager. I’m thinking the new SSD is not compatible with my laptop. It is a crucial and I ordered the one they recommended. I also upgraded the ram from 4GB to 16GB which is fine. The original drive has extra prongs on the top right side where it plugs in and the new drive (SSD) does not but they don’t seem to go anywhere. A serial ATA cable came with the kit with no instructions for it and seems it has no room to place it anywhere. Any thought or similar problems will help. Thank you .John
