When I connected to backblaze by mounting, 5g files were written once, resulting in my VPS downtime. Although this VPS instance only has 512M memory, the additional resource loss caused by synchronizing files makes me feel that in addition to “the traffic from vultr to backblaze is free”, the integration of backblaze and vultr does not bring any special advantages.

Ah! I thought it was more idiot proof :) Like adding storage in the control panel.. but cool ..works for me :)

You won’t find anything in Vultr’s control panel. You use it from software inside your server like rclone, like you would in any other server. The only difference is that the bandwidth use will be free :)

(or at least I do not know how to activate it) I do have Vultr account (and ofcourse I am backblaze customer:))

I spent the past month optimizing my infrastructure for Amazon’s Graviton processors…

Thanks for the question Herald. Spot on, data transferred between Backblaze and Vultr is free.

Data out from B2 to Vultr is free.(PS: We know that the data uploaded to B2 is free)

Is that right?

And what storage performance? Can this be used for apps like Database servers or is it mostly for backups?

B2 Cloud Storage and my Vultr instance.Ihave looked around in both my Backblaze B2 account as well as my Vultr account;
