The good news is you don’t have to worry about it. Our Computer Backup client for personal use does all the work for you, and we only upload data that’s changed or added to reduce the amount of bandwidth we use.

It just runs in the background. I also use MacOS Time Machine. It runs in the background. How do I figure out what kind of backup type is being used — or do I even have to think about that.

With this approach, there’s a single repository of all possible chunks of data, and individual backups are just a list of chunks from that repository. So, all backups are full, while being fast and efficient as incremental.
