Stop calling NVMe’s SSDs, as they aren’t solid state, they are NVMe.
Solid State Drives are objectively are a description of the drive’s technology, just as Non-Volatile Memory Express is.
Likewise M.2 is an interface type, just like SATA, or IDE.

There’s already too many people who think “M.2 SSDs are faster”.

Fewer bits => faster, more reliable, more expensive. More bits -> slower, cheaper and less reliable
