Hello Scott! We default to backing up continuously, but you can add a schedule in your app settings. If you want even more control, I’d recommend using B2 Cloud Storage with one of our integrations (like Arq) which can allow you to control a lot more of your backup.

Backblaze will not do a backup when you want it to, and therefore leaves you not able to follow a proper 3-2-1 strategy and leaves you exposed on your backups. Instead, the designers at Backblaze decide when to do the backup for you, which is a terrible idea. Give me control of my own backups!

will be the credibility of 3-1 Backup would it be possible to consider it as a safe backup
strategy?

Only if you (foolishly) sync your data. But if you copy data to a different date-folder each time… you preserve a full copy of everything from that date.

Another of many reasons to n-e-v-e-r sync.
