So my documents folder is hosted on one drive instead of the c drive – that means this isn’t being backed up correct?

I can’t get my drives to load on the mobile app though. Do the drives have to be mounted? Or can I access the backup when they’re offline?

Hey Mark! As long as the files are “actually” on your computer and not just “pointing” to iCloud, OneDrive, etc…we’ll back them up – so long as we have access to that directory on your computer.

Hi James! We don’t currently have a “local option” since most USB drives come with their own software that does a pretty decent job. It’s definitely interesting to think about though!

Are there any plans for the Backblaze client to include this as an option in the local configuration? Meaning we could connect a local USB or NAS and have the Backblaze client backup to this local destination in addition to the Backblaze cloud? This would be much more simple than using yet another backup program to backup local.

Root:
/Home
/Photos
/Music
/Plex

I want to back up photos, music and plex, but it will only let me select one. Once I do that, if I try to add another sync, it says I can only have 1 parent one. How do I sync more than 1 root folder? Please don’t tell me I have to re-organize my whole server, and re-map everything, in order to be able to back it up. I’m dreading that being the answer.

How can I use Backblaze to backup these two drives directly? Thanks for your help!
