Thanks for your input. While B2 Cloud Storage is indeed useful for backup and archive, we have partnerships and integrators that do allow for compute functionality. That said we’ve also seen a number of developers take a multi-cloud approach as mentioned in the post, to reap the unique benefits that each cloud provider has to offer.

For my use case I need a virtual machine with a GPU in the same facility. Other people need a DBMS and a web server. Having storage in an isolated data-center with no processor is useful only for backup or long-term archive.

The compete with AWS or Google you guys will need to do for CPUs what you did for storage or reduce you bandwidth cost to _exactly_ zero.
