      Transferring a Paid License

        You can move a paid license from your original computer to a new computer or installation using two methods: Inherit Backup State or Transfer License. Both methods properly license the new installation, but the way in which it is handled differs.

        Note
        Before you proceed with either method of transferring your license, you should ensure that you do not need to retrieve any data from your previous backup. If you need to recover any data, create a restore before you proceed.
