Backup and sync are very different functions. Sync allows you to synchronize folders or files on your NAS to other devices or into the cloud, making it a great tool for accessing work remotely and collaborating with teams. However, it is not a good backup solution because it does not capture past backup states and is vulnerable to ransomware and malware.
